10 April 2005

Publishing student Yulia Razina has been working with the Land/Water research group to publish their societies book 'Surface' published by the University of Plymouth Press. The book contains full colour illustration throughout and will be available from 23 June 2005.

2 Feb 2005

Publishing students Jessica Garcia and Laura Gill have been working with editor Peter Howard and author Jocelyn Hemming to produce 'A Devonshire House: The Story of Poltimore' published by the University of Plymouth Press. The forward has been written by Joan Bakewell who also presented the case for Poltimore on the BBC programme 'Restoration'. The book was launched on 22 April 2005 at the Peninsula Arts Centre. Jocelyn was on hand to sign copies of her book and to discuss the history and people associated with Poltimore since Tudor times.

5 Nov 2004

Publishing course reaches an agreement with Intellect Books to launch the University of Plymouth Press. Students of the course can now undertake live publishing projects during module MAPU508 (The Publishing Process), which runs throughout the year.

20 Sept 2004

After 29 years at the Exeter campus the publishing course has relocated to the main campus at Plymouth. The course base has been purpose built with all new facilities.
