COURSE OVERVIEW

Established in 1975, the course was designed to give graduates a hands-on experience of the publishing industry.

The course offers you the opportunity to vocationalise your first degree and has been specifically designed to develop a professional and practical approach to publishing. Regardless of the discipline of your first degree the course is able to provide the necessary skills and knowledge to the standards required by the industry, an approach that exists in few courses at this level.

This is becoming increasing important in an industry with very few in house training schemes and a high number of graduates interested in publishing careers.

Initially, the program is centred around taught lectures, seminars and workshops. After the first term you will start submitting practical assignments and the focus of the course shifts towards more independent work.
